The final piece to research what avoiding network marketing scams is to actually find some business builders for the particular business, setup a time to interview them, and ask very deep and probing questions about how the business is being built. Is it more of a product or business focused opportunity, and is a very hype filled or do they focus on finding people who are looking for the benefits of what they have to offer?

Basically, in summary you must do research in order to not get caught up in network marketing scams.
